Colby Drost partnered with Edge Sports Management in April 2024. In 2019 Colby founded Paragon Sports Consulting and quickly built the leading player advising company in the industry. Paragon has clients, many of which are pro-prospects, across North America competing in the best youth, prep, and NCAA programs.

Colby’s keen eye for talent and development-focused advising has enabled him to recruit and develop some of the best players in North America. In 4 years, Colby has helped 105 players earn Division I commitments and obtain more than $15 million in scholarships and aid.

Prior to founding Paragon, Colby worked in Midget hockey, the USHL, and the NCAA. Colby’s experience is a tremendous benefit to his clients. He has an extensive network, deep relationships throughout hockey, and understands what it takes to excel at every level, which he relies on when counseling and placing players. Colby’s collaborative approach to advising has allowed him to establish and maintain close relationships with coaches and team personnel from Midget hockey to the NHL.

Colby played Division I and Division III hockey and received his B.A. in History from the University of New England. Colby also has a Master of Legal Studies from Northeastern University. He resides outside Chicago, IL.
