Goaltender of the Year Chooses Mercyhurst University

Paragon Sports Consulting is proud to announce Matthew Lenz will be continuing his hockey career at Mercyhurst University in 2020-21. Matthew played for the Steinbach Pistons of the MJHL during the 2019-20 season and had a tremendous year finishing with a 2.13 GAA and a .922 save percentage in 38 games.

Matthew was the MJHL’s Goaltender of the Year and a finalist for the CJHL Goaltender of the Year, the award given to the best goaltender in Canadian Tier II junior hockey.

We wish Matthew the best of luck and look forward to seeing him shine at Mercyhurst University.
