Committed to our clients success

Mission Statement

Paragon Sports Consulting believes that every player
should be treated and educated like a professional.

As a player-focused family advising company, Paragon Sports Consulting’s mission is to provide each player with vital information, development resources, and mentorship, so he may develop and reach his full potential on and off the ice.

“Colby has really shown his commitment to help my son’s development as a hockey player. He has a very good understanding when it comes to younger players and he has shown that he is deeply focused on his job and really likes his work. His opinion means a lot to my son and he listens to him. With Colby’s help, my son has realized that academic skills are as important as hockey. Colby communicates with my son weekly and always keeps him up to date on new developments. I have been more than satisfied and I trust that his decisions and advice are best for my son.”

Nora, Finland

“The moment we met Colby we felt we had a person in our corner who was working as hard as our son off the ice towards helping our son reach his goal to play division 1 hockey. His communication skills are amazing. He never hesitated to answer a call or text. His advice was spot on. We recommend him 100% !”

Kim, Illinois

“My son and I really appreciated working with Colby. The hockey business can be tricky and confusing and really hard to find someone to guide you through the process. Colby was our guide, mentor, and advocate who always made sure we were in the proper place to succeed and was an integral part of getting us to college. We are very grateful.”

Ed, New York

“My family and I had the opportunity to work with Colby Drost of Paragon Sports Consulting over this past hockey season (2019-20). Colby’s reliability, integrity, and professionalism helped guide me through the process of transitioning from Junior A hockey to NCAA hockey. Colby’s knowledge of the college hockey process, his work ethic, and rapport assisted me in committing to the Mercyhurst Lakers. I am very grateful for the opportunity I had to work with Colby and would highly recommend his services.”

Matthew, Canada

“We decided it was time for an advisor after our son was faced with the difficult decision of having to decide on a new team midway through his first season of midgets. We interviewed a few advisors and Colby took an immediate interest in helping our son. In the very short time we’ve worked with Colby he’s helped us with U16 and again in choosing the best fit for prep school. Anytime our son has questions Colby makes himself available through phone, text, or email. Having an advisor is a invaluable resource when navigating through the various levels of hockey; Having Colby in our corner has really eased the burden when making difficult decisions.”

Randy, Pennsylvania

“My experience with Colby has been beneficial to my hockey development, and without him, I would not have the opportunities I have today. Before working with Colby, I had minimal junior interest, but once I began working with him, many different teams started contacting me. Even once I began receiving junior attention, Colby still reached out to more organizations to try and give me more and better opportunities for my future. Colby is also a different type of player advisor as he gets to know his players and will only send his players to organizations where he believes they will do well.”

Jack, New York
